PRECIOUS MEMORIES
This page is dedicated to Mr. Kitty, Missy Cat and all of our pets that have crossed over to the Rainbow
Bridge. Each one of them holds a special place in our hearts and we will remember them always.

"GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN"
IN MEMORY OF HOUSTON BELL

Houston Bell, beloved Golden Retriever of Dr. Bell, passed away on Saturday, August
13, due to complications of old age. Houston would have been 13 years old on
August 15.
Houston had been with Dr. Bell and Jamie all through Vet school. They drove from
LSU to Houston, Texas, to get him. When he was 9 weeks old, he developed
meningitis and it took a lot of love and care to pull him through.
Houston spent a lot of time here at the clinic and will be dearly missed by the staff
and his human family. But  we know his "brother" Cole and his "cousins" Gus an
d
Woodrow will miss him the most.
Missy Barkley, the
beloved pet of 15 years
of Dr. Natalie Barkley
will be missed by all the
staff of the Animal
Health Center. She was
a big part of our lives at
the clinic, with her
sassy little walk!
       SOCKS
My Mom, Sarah, misses me, but I am
really happy at the Rainbow Bridge. I
know she thinks of me all the time, but I
wish she wouldn't cry so much. I will be
with her always.
POOH BEAR
I love my family very much and
miss being with them, but I am
having so much fun here at the
Rainbow Bridge. I have met Socks
and found out our Moms work
together! I know they will keep
each other comforted because
they miss us, 'cause we are doing
the same thing!!
ANGIE
I play at the Rainbow Bridge with all my new
friends.  I am having so much fun, I romp and
play all day long. Although, I miss my Mom, Dad
and sister, Aussie,  I know that one day I will see
them again here at the Rainbow Bridge.
Mickey and Pancho or Pancho and Mickey. You never saw one without the other until Pancho passed away in the winter
of 1999. Both of these little dogs belonged to one of our dearest clients. She surrounded them with so much love and
attention that they never lacked for anything. Chelsea was special too, but she had gone on to the Rainbow Bridge before
Pancho and Mickey. Pancho was born in 1989, so was Mickey. They were best buds to each other! When Pancho died, we
almost lost Mickey too. He would not eat for almost a year, because he was mourning the loss of his best friend. Mickey
was a special little mixed breed that was always fine until he saw Dr. Bell-he barked the whole time he was at the clinic.
He loved Dr. Bell and it was such fun to watch. Our client's mother passed away and Mickey mourned her death just as
our client did - he really missed his grandma. He would go to the nursing home on a regular basis to visit her. When
Mickey passed away in August of 2004, it was a very sad day at our clinic. He was dearly loved and it broke our client's
heart tremendously. We are hoping this precious lady will eventually have another little black puppy in her life. When she
is ready, we will be there ready!
